Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (Vanilla or Plain)
  • 1/2 cup granola of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • Optional: Chopped pecans or walnuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and coated in a light syrup. Remove from heat and let them cool slightly.
  2. Take two clear glasses or jars. Spoon about 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt into the bottom of each container, smoothing it out with the back of a spoon to create an even layer.
  3. Add a generous spoonful of the warm cinnamon apples over the yogurt. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of granola over the apples to provide a nice textural contrast.
  4. Repeat the process by adding another layer of yogurt, followed by the remaining apples and granola. This creates the beautiful striped look that makes parfaits so appealing.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of each parfait. If you like extra crunch, sprinkle some chopped pecans or walnuts on top. Serve immediately while the apples are still slightly warm.
